Subscription business model

A subscription business model is when a company sells access to their products or services for a certain amount of time, usually for a monthly fee. So instead of buying an item, like a toy or video game, one time, you pay a fee every month or year to use the product or service. For example, Netflix is a company that uses the subscription business model; you pay them a certain amount every month and you can watch all of their movies or TV shows.
