Suction cup

A suction cup is a special kind of rubbery thing that sticks to surfaces like glass, mirrors or shiny tiles. Do you remember the toys you might have played with at a theme park that you could throw onto a wall, and it would stick there for a while? The suction cup works in the same way. When you press the suction cup onto a surface, it creates a vacuum inside the cup. This vacuum is like a big hug that holds the suction cup in place. The air pressure outside the suction cup is stronger than the pressure inside it, and that's how it sticks. It's like magic!

But sometimes, the suction cup may not stick well, this could be because the surface is dirty, there is a gap between the suction cup and the surface, or the suction cup is old and not working as well. In that case, you can simply wet the surface or suction cup or both, then push and twist it a little bit to get a tight hold.

Suction cups can have many uses - they can be used to hang towels, shower curtains, or even to mount devices like your phone or GPS in your car. They're really helpful and easy to use!
