Suffrage Hikes

Suffrage hikes are when people walk together to show their support for the right to vote. Hiking is a way to show that you're working to stand up for citizens' rights. People who go on suffrage hikes usually carry signs and chant slogans that tell people why they should have the right to vote. Sometimes they march in the streets or go to a place, like the state capital, to speak out and demand the right to vote. Doing this makes sure the people in charge know that citizens want the right to vote. People who go on suffrage hikes are standing up for their right to be heard.
