ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Super-strength

Super-strength is when someone can lift really heavy things, like a car or even a whole building! Imagine you're at the park and you're trying to lift a big rock. You might try with all your might, but you just can't lift it because it's too heavy. But imagine if someone had really, really strong muscles that were able to lift things that were way, way heavier than a big rock. That's what super-strength is!

Scientists aren't quite sure how super-strength works, but they think it has something to do with the muscles in a person's body being much stronger and more powerful than most people. It could also be that their bones and other parts of their body are different and able to handle more weight without breaking.

Super-strength isn't something that most people have naturally. Sometimes, people with super-strength get their strength from things like being exposed to certain chemicals, getting bitten by a radioactive spider or just being born with unique genetics.

It's important to remember that even though super-strength might be cool, it's not necessarily something to aspire to or try to achieve on your own. Superheroes and characters in movies might be able to use their super-strength to save the world, but in real life, it's always best to stick to lifting things that are safe and appropriate for your body.
