Superglass

Superglass is a kind of material that is used to insulate homes and buildings. Insulation means keeping the warmth inside during winter and the cool air inside during summer.

Superglass is made of small pieces of crushed glass. Imagine a big machine that takes glass bottles and jars and turns them into tiny pieces. These tiny pieces are then heated up until they melt and turn into a gooey liquid. That liquid is then spun really fast until it becomes long, thin fibers. These fibers are then pressed together to make a thick batt of material.

This batt of material is then cut into pieces that can be fitted into walls, attics, and floors. It's kind of like putting a big blanket of glass fibers inside your home to keep it warm in winter and cool in summer. The superglass insulation makes it harder for heat or cold air to escape, creating a more comfortable environment inside your home.

In addition to its insulating power, superglass is environmentally friendly because it is made from recycled materials. So, using superglass insulation can help decrease the amount of waste in the environment while keeping your home cozy and comfortable.
