ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Supermontage

Okay, so let's imagine you're at a really big toy store with lots and lots of toys. There are so many toys that it might be hard to find the exact one you want. That's kind of like the stock market - there are lots of different companies, or "toys," that you can buy a piece of (called a share).

Now, imagine the toy store has a big board with pictures of all the toys on it, and you can just point to the one you want. That's kind of like the SuperMontage system.

SuperMontage is an electronic system that helps people buy and sell pieces of companies, or stocks. It's like a big board that shows all the stocks that people want to buy or sell. The board is electronic, so people can access it from their computers or phones.

When you want to buy a stock, you can look at the SuperMontage board and see if anyone else is selling shares of that company. And when you want to sell a stock, you can look at the board and see if anyone else is buying.

SuperMontage makes it easier for people to buy and sell stocks because they can see all the options in one place. It's kind of like having a big toy store board for the stock market!
