Superstabilization

Superstabilization is when something is designed to keep working properly even if something goes wrong. It's kind of like having a backup plan in case things don't go as expected.

Imagine you are playing with blocks to build a tall tower. Sometimes, one block can fall and make the whole tower collapse. But if you have a special kind of block that can balance itself and stay in place even if it's bumped, then your tower can stay standing no matter what happens.

In the same way, engineers can design systems like robots or computers with superstabilization so they keep working even if there is a problem. For example, let's say a robot is programmed to follow a certain path but it hits a wall. With superstabilization, the robot can quickly adjust and find a new path to keep going instead of stopping and giving up.
