Superstition

Superstition is when people think certain things bring them luck or bad luck, like walking under a ladder, or a black cat crossing your path. People believe this because they think a higher power is looking out for them and making sure they have good or bad luck. Superstitions don't really do anything, but it's thought that if we do certain things it will bring us luck or bad luck.
