ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Supporting line

A supporting line is like a helper line that helps keep things in place or prevent them from falling over. Imagine you are drawing a picture of a tall tower made of blocks. If you just stack the blocks on top of each other without anything to help them stay balanced, the tower might fall over. But if you use a supporting line, such as a stick or a ruler, you can put it next to the blocks to help hold them up and keep them straight. This makes the tower more stable and less likely to fall down. Supporting lines can be used in many different ways, not just for drawing towers. They can be used to help hold up other things, like shelves or even your own body when you're learning to walk. Just like how you need a helping hand sometimes, objects sometimes need a supporting line to stay upright and steady.
