Sustainable urbanism

Sustainable urbanism is a way of designing our cities and towns so that they use less energy, water, and resources and make it easier for us to get around. It also helps make our cities more pleasant and comfortable places to live. To make this happen, sustainable urbanism uses things like green building materials and design that make the most of natural light and ventilation. It also looks at how the streets, sidewalks and public spaces are laid out to make sure that people can get around easily and safely. Finally, it considers ways to reduce the amount of waste created in cities by looking for ways to reuse, recycle or compost things like food and paper.
