Symbolic integration

Symbolic integration is when you take an equation (something with numbers and letters) and figure out what the end result is. To do this, you use something called symbols (which are like little codes) that tell you how to solve the equation. For example, if you have an equation like 3x2 + 4x + 1, you can use symbols to figure out that the answer is x3 + 2x2 + x + 1.
