Synthetic molecular motor

A synthetic molecular motor is a tiny machine that uses energy to power itself in a very similar way to how a typical car engine works. The motor works by using chemical energy (like the fuel in a car) to drive the movement of molecules, which then creates mechanical energy (like what a car engine does with fuel). This mechanical energy helps the motor to do useful things like pump liquid or break apart molecules.
