The System of National Accounts (SNA) is a way of tracking economic activities like production, buying and selling, income, savings and investments. It helps us understand a country's economy by providing information on how money is moving around in the country, like what kind of goods and services are being bought and sold, how much people are earning, and how much they are saving. The SNA also helps us understand how businesses and the government are using their money and how people are using their incomes. In other words, the SNA helps us understand how money flows through the economy!
