Tallit

A tallit is like a special blanket that some people use when they pray or go to a special service. It is made out of special threads that are usually white with blue or black stripes. The tallit covers the person's shoulders and sometimes they put it over their head when they are praying. Some people also wear a special fringed shawl called a tzitzit with their tallit. The tallit is an important part of some Jewish traditions and many people treasure their tallit as a symbol of their faith.
