Taqwa

Taqwa is a special kind of respect that we show to Allah. It is like an understanding that Allah is watching us, so we should always strive to be obedient to his rules, and to do what is right. We should put Allah first in our actions; that is taqwa. This can be done by reading the Quran and trying to understand what it says and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, praying regularly, and avoiding things that are not good or are against the Will of Allah.
