ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Task mining

Task mining is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) software that helps people figure out how to do things. It works by analyzing multiple sources of information, such as text documents, pictures, or even videos, to automatically figure out the steps needed to complete a task. For example, if you had to teach a robot how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you could use task mining to teach it. The robot would analyze all of the steps you took when making the sandwich, like gathering the ingredients, spreading peanut butter and jelly on the bread, and putting the two slices together, and it could then recreate the same steps to make a sandwich whenever it's asked. Task mining can help people save time and get things done more efficiently.
