Tattle-Tape

Tattle-tape is a special kind of tape that can help keep things safe in places called libraries. When you go to a library, you can borrow books and take them home to read, but the library wants to make sure that the books come back! So they put tattle-tape on the books.

Tattle-tape is kinda like a secret code that only a special machine can read. When you borrow a book, the librarian puts the book on another special machine that can read the tattle-tape. If the machine doesn't hear the secret code from the tattle-tape, it beeps really loudly to let everyone know that the book is trying to leave without permission!

So, the tattle-tape helps the library keep track of their books and makes sure they stay safe and don't get lost. And now you know all about tattle-tape!
