Tea lady

A tea lady is a person who makes and serves tea to people in an office or workplace. They are usually women and their job is to ensure that everyone has a cup of tea or coffee when they need it.

Just like how you like to have a snack or drink when you are hungry or thirsty, adults also like to have drinks like tea or coffee when they are working. The tea lady makes sure they have it.

They have a special cart or trolley on which they keep cups, tea bags or loose tea, sugar, milk, and a kettle. They go around the office asking everyone if they want tea, and if they do, the tea lady makes it for them.

Sometimes the tea lady also brings biscuits or cookies to go along with the tea. They are very important because they help keep people happy and focused while they work.
