Terminal degree

A terminal degree is like a really, really special award that someone gets for being really good at something. It's the highest degree you can get in a certain field, like being a doctor or being a scientist.

This kind of degree is only given to people who have worked really hard and are true experts in their field. So if you meet someone with a terminal degree, you know they are very, very good at what they do!
