Terrarium

A terrarium is like a mini-garden that you can keep inside your house! It's like a tiny little world where plants and maybe even some little animals can live inside a container.

You will need a clear glass or plastic container to make a terrarium. Fill the bottom of your container with small rocks or pebbles - this is called the "drainage layer". It helps water to drain out of the soil so your plants don't get too wet.

Next, add a layer of potting soil (which is like dirt that's specially made for plants). This is where your plants will grow! You can choose some small plants like cacti, succulents or ferns that will fit inside your container.

Make little holes in the soil where you want to plant your plants. Put the plants inside the holes and gently press the soil around them.

Now it's time to decorate your terrarium! You can add some rocks, shells, or little figurines to create a nice landscape.

Lastly, water your terrarium carefully. You don't need to water it too much because the moisture will be trapped inside the container. Your terrarium will create its own little ecosystem!

Remember to keep your terrarium in a place with bright, indirect light - somewhere where it won't get too hot or too cold. And that's it! You now have your very own mini-garden that you can enjoy inside your home.
