Terrazzo

Terrazzo is like a really cool floor that has little pieces of things inside. Think of it like a cookie, where the cookie dough is the floor and the chocolate chips or sprinkles are the little pieces inside.

To make terrazzo, people mix chips of things like marble, glass, or granite into a cement or resin base. Then, they pour it onto the floor and smooth it out. After it dries, they grind it down to make it nice and smooth. Finally, they add a sealant to protect it from spills and scratches.

Terrazzo can come in all sorts of colors and patterns, and it lasts a really long time because it's so strong. People use it in lots of places like schools, airports, and museums because it's easy to clean and looks great.
