The Chamber is a novel written by John Grisham. It tells the story of a 25-year-old man named Adam Hall who is the grandson of a white supremacist from Mississippi. Adam goes to his grandfather's death chamber to watch his execution, but he soon finds out that the death chamber is not what it seems. It turns out that his grandfather was hiding a secret--the chamber is really a torture chamber designed to punish people for their beliefs and actions. Through his journey, Adam learns about his family's secrets, discovers secrets about the people running the chamber, and eventually finds a way to put an end to the torture.
