The Liberal

A liberal is someone who believes in the importance of equal rights and fairness for all people, especially those who have traditionally not been treated equally, such as women and people of color. They also believe that government should take an active role in ensuring the welfare of all citizens by providing social services, such as health care and education, and by taking steps to reduce poverty and inequality.
