The Nine Peahens and the Golden Apples

Once upon a time, there were nine peahens who lived together in a beautiful garden. They loved to play and sing all day, but they were also very curious. One day, they heard about a magical tree that grew golden apples, and they became very excited.

Now, these golden apples were the most delicious apples in the world, and they only grew on this one tree. So, the peahens decided to take a journey to find the tree and taste these wonderful apples.

They traveled for days and nights, crossing mountains, rivers, and forests until they finally reached the tree. Its branches were filled with shiny golden apples, and the peahens were overjoyed.

But, as they were about to pick one, a wise old owl appeared and warned them about the tree's guardian. The guardian was a fierce dragon who lived in a nearby cave, and he would not let anyone take the apples.

The peahens were afraid but determined to try, so they approached the cave. The dragon appeared, breathing fire, and asked them why they had come. The peahens explained that they only wanted to taste the golden apples. The dragon, surprised by their honesty, decided to make a deal.

He would let them take one apple each, but they had to complete a task. They had to return to their garden and share the apples with all the animals who lived there. The peahens agreed, and they each took an apple and started their journey back.

When they arrived home, they shared the golden apples with the other animals. They found that, besides being delicious, the apples had magical properties. The animals who ate them gained special abilities, such as the ability to talk, sing, or fly.

The peahens became known as wise and generous creatures, and they lived happily ever after with the other animals in their garden. And, from that day forward, they continued to go on many more adventures, always seeking new knowledge and wonders.
