The Senlis Council
The Senlis Council is a group of grown-ups who get together to talk about ways to keep people safe and happy in places where there is lots of violent fighting. They think about ways to help people who are hurt or scared because of the fighting.
They talk with other grown-ups, like leaders of big countries, to tell them what they think is the best way to help. They also visit the places where the fighting is happening to understand better what people need.
They try to come up with ideas that many different people will agree on, like if you and your friends are trying to decide what game to play and you all want to play something different. The Senlis council tries to find a game that everyone will enjoy playing.
Their main goal is to help make places where there is fighting into happier, safer places for everyone.
