The Walt Disney Company
The Walt Disney Company is a big company that makes movies, TV shows, and cartoons that lots and lots of people like to watch. They started a really long time ago in 1923 by two brothers, Walt and Roy Disney, and they kept getting bigger and bigger as more people watched and enjoyed their stuff.
They made a lot of famous things that you might have heard of, like Mickey Mouse, Disneyland (which is like a really big amusement park), and movies like Toy Story, Frozen, and The Lion King.
Disney has lots of different parts to it, like Disney Animation, Pixar Animation (which makes movies with really cool computer graphics), Marvel (which tells stories about superheroes and has characters like Iron Man and Spider-Man), and Star Wars (which tells stories about space and has characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader).
Sometimes, Disney can make us really happy by making movies that we really like, but sometimes they might make us a little bit sad if something in their stories makes us cry.
