Imagine a world without any humans! It would be a very different place indeed.
First, all the buildings, roads and bridges that we see around us every day would slowly start to break down and crumble. Without anyone to maintain them, they would be overtaken by nature. Plants would grow through cracks in the pavement and animals would start to make their homes in the abandoned buildings.
Animals would roam freely without the fear of being hunted or captured by humans. This would eventually cause a shift in the food chain and new predators and prey would emerge.
The air would become much cleaner since there would be no pollution or emissions from factories, cars, and airplanes. The skies would be filled with birds and other animals that had vanished due to human activity.
Without humans, the oceans would start to heal as well. The oil spills, plastic waste, and other pollutants would slowly start to disintegrate, and marine life would thrive once again.
In time, the only evidence of humans would be the ruins of our cities and the relics we left behind. The Earth would renew itself and become a paradise once again, but it would take a long time for it to happen.
So, in a world without us, nature would reclaim what was once hers and the Earth would be reborn.
