ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Theology of culture

Okay kiddo, so the "theology of culture" is like trying to understand how God and our beliefs about God affect the way we think and act in the world around us.

Think of it like this: when you go to school or watch TV or play with your friends, there are lots of different ideas and beliefs that you might encounter or be influenced by. Some of these things might be good, and some might not be so good.

The theology of culture is about asking questions like: how does what we believe about God affect our idea of what is right or wrong? How can we use our beliefs to make the world a better place for everyone? And how can we learn from different cultures in order to understand God better?

It's kind of like trying to make sure that what we believe about God is helping us to be kind, loving, and respectful to others, and to make the world a better place. Does that make sense, little buddy?
