Thermomechanical cuttings cleaner

A thermomechanical cuttings cleaner is a special machine that cleans up the waste that is left over from drilling for oil or gas. When you drill for oil or gas, there are a lot of little pieces of rock and dirt that get mixed in with the oil or gas that you want. These little pieces are called cuttings, and they need to be cleaned up so that they don't hurt the environment.

The thermomechanical cuttings cleaner works in two different ways to clean up these cuttings. First, it heats up the cuttings using really hot air or steam. This makes the oil or gas separate from the cuttings, so that the cuttings aren't oily anymore. Then, it uses a spinning drum to separate the dry cuttings from any remaining bits of oil or gas.

Once the cuttings are all clean, they can be safely disposed of in a landfill, instead of leaving them out in the environment where they could cause harm. So, basically, the thermomechanical cuttings cleaner is like a super-special vacuum cleaner that cleans up all of the yucky stuff left behind from drilling for oil or gas, so that we can keep the environment safe and clean!
