Thermopower

Thermopower is something we use to turn heat into electricity. It works like this. Heat is a type of energy that can make things around it move. We take a special material and put it between a hot surface and a cold surface. Then, the heat from the hot surface makes the atoms in the material start to move, and that movement creates tiny electricity currents. Then, we connect the material to something else that turns the electricity into useful energy.
