Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution

The 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution is a super important part of our Constitution. It states that slavery and involuntary servitude are not allowed in the United States. That means it is illegal for anyone to be a slave or to be forced to do something like work without getting paid. This amendment was very important as it helped to make sure that no one in the US can be held against their will or made to do anything without being paid for it.
