Thread seal tape

Thread seal tape is a very useful tape that people use to seal pipes and fittings. It looks like a long, thin roll of white tape.

When we connect pipes and fittings together, sometimes water or gas can leak out because the connections are not tight enough. Thread seal tape helps fix that problem by creating a tight seal between the pipes and fittings.

To use thread seal tape, first you need to make sure the pipes and fittings are clean and dry. Then, you take a small piece of the tape and wrap it around the threads on the end of the pipe or fitting. The tape fills in any gaps that might be there and helps create a smooth surface for the connection.

Once you've wrapped the tape around the threads, you can connect the pipes and fittings together. The tape will help keep everything sealed up tight so that nothing can leak out.

It's important to use thread seal tape properly so that it doesn't unravel or tear. You want to make sure that you wrap the tape in the same direction as the threads on the pipe or fitting. And you don't want to use too much tape, because then it might not fit together properly.

Overall, thread seal tape is a really helpful tool to make sure that pipes and fittings stay connected and don't leak.
