The threefold training is like learning how to ride a bike!
The first step is called Sila, it's like learning how to balance yourself on the bike. Sila is about learning how to behave well and do the right thing. This means being kind to others, telling the truth, not stealing things, and not harming animals.
The second step is called Samadhi, it's like learning how to pedal your bike. Samadhi is about learning how to focus your mind through meditation. This means concentrating on your breath or visualizing peaceful images to calm your mind.
The third and final step is called Prajna, it's like learning how to steer your bike. Prajna is about gaining wisdom and insight into the world around us. This means understanding the interconnectedness of all things and realizing the impermanence of life.
Just like learning how to ride a bike takes practice and patience, the threefold training takes time and dedication to master. But with enough effort and consistency, we can achieve a greater sense of inner peace and happiness.
