Timeline of Casablanca

Okay, so Casablanca is a movie that was made a long time ago, in 1942. That's before your mom and dad were born!

The movie takes place during World War II, which was a really big war that happened a long time ago. In the movie, there's this guy named Rick who owns a really cool bar in Casablanca, which is in Africa. Rick used to be in love with this woman named Ilsa who he met a long time ago in Paris, but she left him and he hasn't seen her in a while.

One day, Ilsa shows up at Rick's bar in Casablanca with her husband, who is a leader of the French Resistance. They need some papers to get out of Casablanca and go to America, but they have to be really careful because there are a lot of bad guys who want to stop them. Rick has the papers, but he's not sure if he wants to give them to Ilsa and her husband because he's still upset about what happened between him and Ilsa.

So, while all this is happening, there are a lot of important events going on in the war. The bad guys, who are called the Nazis, are trying to take over a lot of countries in Europe. The good guys, who are called the Allies, are trying to stop them. The movie shows how the war affects the people in Casablanca and how everyone has to make some really tough choices.

In the end, Rick decides to give Ilsa and her husband the papers so they can go to America and be safe. But Rick has to stay behind and keep running his bar because he's a really important guy in Casablanca. It's a really sad ending, but it also shows how love can make us do really brave things.

So that's the timeline of Casablanca. It's a really famous movie and a lot of people think it's one of the best movies ever made!
