Torque tester

A torque tester is a special tool that is used to measure how much force is needed to twist or turn something. It looks like a long stick with a handle on one end and a thick round weight on the other end.

For example, let's say you have a jar with a tight lid that you can't open. You could use a torque tester to measure how much force you need to use to twist the lid off.

The way it works is like this: you hold onto the handle of the torque tester and use it to twist the lid on the jar. The force you apply will be transferred through the stick of the torque tester and into the weight on the end.

The torque tester then measures how much force was applied by reading the amount of twist or rotation that the weight makes. It can tell you if you applied too much force, not enough force or just the right amount.

Torque testers are very useful in manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance work where it's important to make sure a certain amount of force is applied to a bolt or screw, for example. They help ensure that a product or machine is built correctly and will work the way it's supposed to.
