Toxalbumin

Toxalbumin is a big, bad protein that is found in certain plants and animals. When we say "protein", think of it like a bunch of small, Lego-like pieces that fit together to make a bigger thing.

Now, Toxalbumin is not a nice protein because it can cause a lot of damage to your body if you eat or touch something that has it. Remember how we said it's found in certain plants and animals? If you eat a plant or animal that has this toxin, it can make you feel really sick or hurt you!

Toxalbumin is so bad because it can stop your cells from working properly. Imagine if all of the little workers in your body that keep you healthy suddenly stopped doing their job - that's what Toxalbumin does.

But don't worry, scientists are very smart and are working hard to figure out how to keep us safe from Toxalbumin. In the meantime, just make sure you avoid eating or touching things that might have this toxin.
