Traffic conflict

Traffic conflict is a term used when two or more vehicles come very close to each other or almost hit each other while moving on the road. This could happen if two cars are driving beside each other and one car switches lanes without looking if someone is in the next lane. It can also happen if a car pulls out of a driveway Into traffic without checking if there are any cars nearby. The closer two cars are when this happens, the higher the traffic conflict.
