Tram-train

Okay kiddo, so you know what a train is, right? It's a big vehicle that runs on rails and carries people or things from one place to another. Now, a tram is also a vehicle that runs on rails, but it's usually smaller and used in cities for public transportation.

Now, imagine if you had a vehicle that could do both! That's what a tram-train is. It's a type of train that can run on both tram tracks in the city and regular train tracks outside of the city.

So, for example, if you wanted to go from the city center to a small town outside of the city, you could take a tram-train. It would start off on the tram tracks in the city, but then switch to regular train tracks once it got outside of the city limits.

This is really cool because it means people can use the same vehicle to get around both the city and the surrounding areas without having to transfer to different types of transportation. Plus, it's better for the environment because it can run on electricity instead of gas.

Pretty neat, huh?
