Transcendentals

Transcendentals are special kinds of numbers which cannot be expressed as the result of any equation or formula. They are infinite in nature, so we cannot calculate them exactly. Transcendentals are found in nature and include things like pi (3.14159...), e (2.71828...), and the golden ratio (1.61803...). All of these special numbers are used by mathematicians and scientists to help them solve problems.
