Transcendence (philosophy)

Transcendence is the idea that some things are so special or important that they are beyond our everyday understanding. In philosophy, it is used to describe the idea that some ideas or values are beyond what we can explain or understand using words or numbers. For example, people might say that love is something that transcends language, meaning that it can't be explained in words, but can only be experienced.
