ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Transcendental empiricism

Transcendental empiricism is a way of looking at the world, which means that we try to understand things based on how we experience them with our own senses, rather than trying to understand things by logic or reason. It means that, for example, we try to understand the world around us by looking at the physical things we can see and touch, and listening to what we hear and feel, instead of just trying to think logically about it.
