Transient Execution CPU Vulnerability is an issue with computer processors that allows hackers to access secret data from a computer. It happens when a processor is executing instructions, which is basically like a computer carrying out tasks. During this process there may be small amounts of data that are temporarily stored in the processor but then removed or "forgotten" before the next task is started. Sometimes hackers are able to look at this data, which means they can see and access information that was supposed to be secret. To prevent this security vulnerability, computer companies are making changes to their processors so that no data is forgotten and all data is kept secure.
