Transmission risks and rates

Transmission risks and rates are how often a virus or germs can be passed from one person to another. Higher risks and rates mean a virus or germs is more likely to spread. For example, if a person doesn't wash their hands often after they sneeze, they have a higher risk of passing the germs to other people they touch. This means it will spread more quickly, and have a higher rate of transmission.
