ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Transmission-level point

A transmission-level point is like a big street where power companies send electricity to homes and businesses. Imagine a big truck delivering a lot of toys to a store. The truck drives on the highway, which is like the transmission-level point for electricity. The toys are like the electricity, and the store is like your home or business. Just like the store needs to make sure it has enough room for all the toys, power companies need to make sure the transmission-level point can handle all the electricity being sent through it. If too much electricity is sent through the transmission-level point, it can cause problems like power outages or even damage to the electrical system. So, power companies work hard to make sure the transmission-level point is strong enough to handle all the electricity being sent through it.
