Transnational cinema

Transnational cinema is a type of movie made by filmmakers from different countries and cultures. The goal of transnational cinema is to show different cultures coming together to tell stories which have universal themes. For example, a transnational movie might be about a family living in the United States whose parents immigrated from Mexico. By telling this story, transnational movies allow people to understand each other better, despite their cultural differences.
