Transport in England

So kiddo, do you know how we go from one place to another like from our house to the supermarket? We use cars or buses or trains, right? Well, in England, people use these types of transportation too, but they also have some other special ones.

Let's start with cars. They have lots of cars in England, just like we do here. But, their cars drive on the left side of the road instead of the right like we do. This can be confusing for people from other countries, but it's how they have always done it in England.

Next, let's talk about buses. England has many buses that travel from one city to another, just like Greyhound buses do here. The big difference is that a lot of their buses run on something called double-decker buses, which means the bus has two levels instead of just one like we have.

Now, here's something really cool- England also has something called the Underground, which is like a big train system that travels all around London. It's really fast and it's underground, which means it goes through tunnels that are dug under the ground. This is helpful so that the roads don't get too crowded with traffic.

Lastly, there are also special black taxis in England that you can take to get from one place to another. They are called black cabs and they are really spacious and comfortable to ride in, but they can be a bit pricey.

So, that's how people get around in England. They use cars, buses, trains, underground trains, and black cabs. Just remember, if you ever go to England, always look both ways before crossing the street because the cars might be coming from a different direction than you're used to!
