Tribe (Internet)

A tribe (on the Internet) is a group of people who like the same things, or come from the same place, or are interested in the same topics. People in tribes spend time together discussing and learning about the topics they're interested in. Tribes can take many forms, from big online forums and websites to small groups chatting on messenger apps. People come together in tribes for many reasons, like to share ideas, help each other out, give advice and support, and even just make friends.
