Turul

Turul is a bird from Hungarian mythology that is often depicted as having the head of a hawk and the body of a wolf. It's a very important and sacred symbol in Hungarian culture, representing strength, power, and hope.

According to legend, the turul appeared to Magyar tribes (the ancestors of modern-day Hungarians) as a guidance for them to migrate to a new land, which is now known as Hungary. It's also believed that the turul plays an important role in protecting the country and its people.

In artworks and sculptures, the turul is often depicted as flying, sometimes even carrying a sword or branch in its talons. It's also often seen in Hungarian coat of arms, stamps, and even banknotes.

So, think of turul as a really cool bird that's super important to Hungarian people, representing strength, power, and protection.
