Twin cities

Twin cities mean two big cities that are very close to each other and share some similarities. Just like how you and your best friend might look alike or have similar interests, these twin cities are kind of like best friends!

You know how you have a house where you live, right? Well, these twin cities have their own houses too, but their houses are bigger and have more people living in them. The people who live in these houses are called citizens.

Sometimes, the twin cities are so close to each other that they almost feel like one big city! People from one city can easily visit the other city without having to travel very far. That's what makes them special because even though there are two of them, they kind of feel like one.

One famous example of twin cities is Minneapolis and St. Paul in the United States. They are very close to each other and share many things, but they also have their own unique personalities and things to see and do. So, just like how you and your friend might both like playing video games, but you might like different games, the twin cities both have things that are similar, but also things that are different from each other.
