ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Two Truths Doctrine

The two truths doctrine is about understanding two different types of truth. One kind of truth is based on how things appear to us, while the other kind of truth is based on how things really are. We often think of these two kinds of truth as how things seem on the outside and how things really are on the inside. For example, we might see a building and think it looks really big, but it might actually be really small when you measure it. So the truth on the outside is that the building looks big, but the truth on the inside is that it is actually small.
